  • Studio Etiquette
    • Loc’d N Studios service area is reserved for only those guests being serviced.

    • Loc’d N Studios reserves the right to take photographs/videos of our work for advertisement, documenting and demonstrative purposes. Photos and videos may be used in subsequent years and no monetary considerations shall be paid.

    • Loc’d N Studios reserves the right to refuse service to anyone.

  • Reservation
    • A valid credit card/debit card is required to secure a reservation for all clients. Some services require a non-refundable retainer fee at the time of booking.

    • Your card will only be charged at the time of booking if retainer fee is required for the service you are booking. Otherwise, your card will only be authorized, not charged unless the appointment cancellation policy has been broken.

    • An appointment modification to remove a service is considered a cancellation & also requires 48 hours’ notice. Or you’ll be subject to a cancellation fee.

    • If an appointment is scheduled in person at the studio, you are still liable for cancelling and/or rescheduling that appointment within the cancellation policy.

    • It’s important to come prepared for a reserved appointment keeping in mind the condition your hair needs to be.

  • Cancellation
    • Loc’d N Studios values the time of all clients. Therefore, a full 48 hours’ notice of your intent to cancel your appointment in order to accommodate others who wish to be serviced.

    •  No call no shows are subject to pay 100% of the scheduled service.

    • Appointments cancelled in less than 24 hours’ notice is subject to a $45 cancellation fee. It’ll be left to your stylist discretion whether or not to uphold the policy.

    • Please ensure we have the correct phone number and email address on file so that you can receive appointment reminders.

    • We understand emergencies happen, but it is necessary that we make up for lost time and maintain the business. The policy will apply to all last-minute cancellations including life crisis or any emergencies, etc. It’ll be left to our discretion whether or not to uphold the policy. It’s important to keep the line of communication open for unforeseen weather crisis. We value yours and our own safety.

  • Early Arrival
    • If you arrive early for your appointment, sit tight until your appointed time.

  • Payments
    • Cash, all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and After Pay (select services) are accepted payment methods. Your gratuities are appreciated.

    • Credit and Debit card payments are reserved for all services except installs.

  • Deposits
    • A retainer fee of $200 is required to book installs.

    • Retainer fees will go toward the final bill.

  • Late Arrival
    • Loc’d N Studios understands that plans may be delayed. However, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late you may be asked to wait, reschedule or abbreviate your appointment in order to honor our next guest’s appointment.

    • If we are still able to accommodate you, you’ll be assessed an automatic $15 late fee at checkout in addition to your service fee. If your stylist is unable to accommodate you, and your appointment must be canceled/rescheduled, you are subject to cancellation fees.

    • As long as you arrive within your grace period (10 to 15 mins) there’s no need to notify us ahead of time. No exchange is needed before the grace period. Should you have to contact us the day of your appointment, you may call for a quick response.

    • New Clients, we ask that you arrive 10-15 minutes early for your scheduled appointment to allow time for parking and locating the studio for the first time.Your stylist still start your appointment as scheduled.

  • Refunds
    • Refunds are not offered for services rendered. If you find an issue with your service results, please let us know as soon as possible to allow us to remedy the situation.

  • Hair conditions
    • For sanitary reasons select services include shampoo services. Microlock/Sisterlocks new install clients should arrive to their appointment with freshly shampooed hair, free of any conditioners, oils, creams, moisturizer, etc. 

    • Transfer clients requesting to book same day services should be aware that services will be contingent upon the condition of your hair.

    • Overdue, excessive slippage, excessive budding, etc. will make the service take longer. This may increase service prices. It’s best not to assume the price of your services before it is completed.

    • Clients exceeding 12 weeks ][from last service with Loc'd N Studios will need to schedule an assessment consultation prior to booking an appointment.

  • Consultation
    • Prior to consultation hair must be freshly shampooed, free of any product, style and in its' natural state. If not, you are subject to the cancellation fee.

    • Consultation fees will not be applied to services as it is it's own service.

    • Your quote given during your consultation is valid for 30 days. Going beyond that will require another consultation.

  • Installs
    • Remainder payment must be received in full prior to us getting started in the form of $Cash App, After Pay, or Cash Only.

    • Rescheduling installation appointments is not guaranteed. The situation will be assessed and left up to our discretion.

    • Less than 48 hours rescheduling of an install appointment will automatically result in the retainer fee being forfeited. Guest must pay 50% of the service if they wish to continue with the install process.

    • Cancelled installation appointments will result in the retainer fee being forfeited.
